Hey there!! Thanks for coming back to Madison from Madison and to anyone who's new, WELCOME! I am so very excited and proud to bring this post to you today. I feel so lucky to have grown up in a Christian home and to have been poured into faith wise throughout my life. Our church and its children's, middle school, and high school ministries played a huge role in my development as a Christian and as a person in general. Despite this wonderful foundation, it can sometimes be difficult to reveal this part of my life to people I'm not extremely close to, despite how important I consider it to be. This is something that I continue to work on every day.

When I came across Brenna and EllyandGrace (website HERE), her faith based apparel/product company, I was immediately drawn to not only the beautiful colors and designs of her products, but also the beautiful way that I could comfortably and subtly express my faith through wearing them.

Brenna is the absolute sweetest and is so beyond creative. I love seeing her draw and create new art that is then incorporated into her products. Each product is intentionally designed, and the sayings and verses incorporated are filled with truth, hope, and grace. She was kind enough to send me two shirts of my choice to share with you!

The first shirt I chose was from the Faith + Freedom Collection that was released before Memorial Day. I chose the Forgiven and Free Short Sleeve Shirt in the color Heather Red. Although this shirt is very fitting for holidays like Memorial Day and the 4th of July, it can easily be worn any day of the year! I chose the Heather Red color because it can be paired with so many pieces for a fun outfit!

Not only is the color amazing, but the font is fun, and the message is incredibly meaningful. The text on this tee is creative and flirty, perfectly elevating a pair of shorts into a more dressy outfit. Wearing this shirt is a great reminder of the price that has been paid for me. Because men and women have given their lives in service for our country, I have so many freedoms and opportunities. Because Jesus died on the cross for my sins, I am considered forgiven and pure in the eyes of God. Although simple, this shirt is a great reminder and conversation starter.

When I saw this shirt while scrolling through the EllyandGrace website, I knew it had to be my second choice! This verse, "For I know the plans I have for you...", Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my absolute favorites. Additionally, this Heather Blue color is simply gorgeous! So many outfits can be made with this blue tee as the base.

I love the simplistic design of this shirt and the way that it highlights the verse. No fancy fonts or flourishes are needed to make this verse more meaningful. This verse is so reassuring as I navigate college and making more and more large life decisions. There are so many times when it feels like I am just going through the motions instead of intentionally seeking and following God's plan for my life. Knowing that God knew what my life would hold before I was even born never fails to blow my mind. With this understanding, it is hard to not feel uplifted and motivated.

Thank you thank you thank you Brenna for your willingness to collaborate with me! I am so excited to continue sharing your company and the word of God with people in my community (whether in Madison or Ames). And thank you to my sweet friend Lidi who captured these images! I had a blast catching up and collaborating.

Thanks for reading, be sure to head over to EllyandGrace and check out her amazing products!
